Portraits for Third Age Total war

Hi guys, I'm a big fan of Lord of the rings and Total war series.At long time something bothers me in my favorite mod Third Age - portraits. So I decided to make my suggestions, using all available resources and adhere to a maximum of atmospheric of Lord of the rings movie. If you like and want to see them in new versions of the Third Age, give your opinion and help me this can be seen from the creators of the Third Age.
So far I can get a preview, but I am ready to submit files if needed
And I can not do submods, I can make just pretty pictures

Great work, but you should know that portraits are culture specific so all orc factions, all elves, all Northmen, all evil men have the same portraits. Only Gondor has it's own culture. Also portraits for heroes and other famous guys are set as custom portraits, so no one else can get those portraits.

For more famous characters I tried to make precise proposals based on the trilogy, even for those who are not documented in the film. They remain unique ... most of them I've done for this purpose. But the common roots of the races I wanted to have a clear cultural differences depending on the region ... without having similar portraits of other fractions

Thats impossible due engine limits. All factions have cultures, and almost all factions share culture with another. The portraits are "locked" to the cultures

I saw khal drogo and many other characters from Game of Thrones in those portraits.......

I think the last portrait in the Silvan Elves group is Eddie Redmayne in Pillars of the Earth. Still I like the idea

yeah, but there are custom portraits for the starting generals such as legolas, aragorn, saruman, etc. and the portraits could still be combined by culture with little problem.

just manual change them during your campaign. i always do that. i've made a list of vanilla pictures (corresponding the numbers of tga) in pdf. i'll upload. by the way they are a good implement

edit: background are nice but i would put the vanilla ones

@finix: are you planning to do compatible tga out of these portraits? Not difficult but i think one should do that.

Whats the status on this submod?
Are you working on usable TGA files?

Im asking this because i started to make new portraits for Northmen culture, mainly for my Dale campaign, and currently i have 20 usable portraits. I acutally have used some same actors from same movies as you as it seems. Altho my view of Northmen is tad different, im using my own image mainly from the Silmarillion book, where the Man of Old had great strength. Dale kinda ressembles me most the race of Men of Old.

Only differense is that im working on both 4:3 and widescreen version for myself.

WARNING! just make sure you delete the "descr_cultures.txt" that comes with the download as you'll need to use TATW's .txt and sort the portraits manually into the cultures used by TATW.
