That describes my thoughts about time travel. Time travel is something that is utterly impossible. The only thing one can do is go forward. Whereas aliens could very well exist on some of the universe's countless planets and moons (we exist, after all), and technology to travel between solar systems and galaxies may be possible, even if such travel remains restricted to a sub-light speed. It's a plot device that makes no sense at all, like sticking a unicorn into Iron Man. I simply have a strong dislike for it.
