    Default Devils - siege machines

    Hi could someone show me some picture how it looks like? Because i have read about one siege on czech military forum but there arent pictures anr even author dont know how they look, he just mentions that they were used by arabs.

    Not mangonels? There are all sorts of weird contraptions I've seen drawn but there were certain standard machines used repeatedly that had a widespread understood design.

    There were a discussion that they could look like balistaes but hey weren't sure.

    Honestly i think it is possible, maybe someone will know, these machienes they were used at Qal´at Marquab قلعة المرقب Margat (fr.) Margathum (lat.) Markappos, Marchapin (gr.) in 1285 togerher with siege towers and frankish' catapults (trebuchets)

    These were not the only siege weaponry they used. I've a book with a few examples in it and in particular that time.
    For example: they used also crowclaws (don't know if it is the right translation) for tearing down the wals. And some kind of screens for protection against enemy archers while asaulting the walls. Wouldn't it be intresting to add more of these weapons to the siege screen. If it is possible of course.
