Can you delete and re-verify the preference script file?

Just curious, I think I have a problem with the lingering preference script info possbly left behind by some old mods I tried. Can the Preference script file be deleted entirely and replaced by verifying the intregity?

Yes. If you have lingering mod problems, delete the scripts folder itself, then verify the game cache. It will also get rid of the user_script if it still in there.
