    Default Carthaginian Economy

Hey I was wondering how fast your guys economy drops when playing Carthage.
When i play, if I dont buy anything, I lost about 5000-10000 naturall a turn. It increase later with corruption.

Also did Carthago normally have -7500 in the beginning. I know the negative sign doesnt mean like your losing money but I swear before the patch, Carthago was -3000 in beginning, not -7500 or is it just me.

I don't really have any money problems with Carthage tbh, indeed it's the only faction where I'm getting enough money But I dissolved these archer chariots after the first battle because each unit takes away 2000 denarii per round I think, and their military value on the battlefield is quite low.

Loads of other guys already told you in that other thread how to get more money, but I can't answer your second question about the patch because I started my Carthage campaign before the patch and played it on then.

started a patched new campaign with carthage yesterday.
put my MaR to high tax and my minor settlements to very high. fought the first scripted battle (won) and disband the warchariots. moved my armies to conquer carthago-nova and messana and moved a fleet to corse (if you conquer messana - rome attacks you there with naval attacks). this first moves are also the trigger for the reformed units. my cash ist +5000 per turn and every turn it gets bigger (more population, trade agreements and newly conquered settlements). i didn´t build much (saved a lot of money from the start) and stoped at my first turn by 120.000 money.

    i´m currently in war with:
rome, massilia, rebels and war with epeiros is coming soon...
i´m besieging illice and other small greek town next to it and prepare to fight the romans in corse and greeks in sicily. massilia is no real thread

Guys, all factions start with a financial reserve and an army. That situation is not in balance with your income. If you do nothing, you run out of money. You're supposed to. Your options are to use your money and army for conquest or disband the army and use the money for construction. In other words, you're expected to make some drastic moves in the first dozen or so turns.
