I think you all know me for I have been a member of the TWC forum for well over a year now.
I adress you because Prarara has offered to become my patron, and I want to grab this opportunity to (finally) become a Civitate.

I have made many posts, most of them in the general discussion sections, but I am also a regular contributor in the "Basement" section where I hope to have helped solve many peoples technical problems.
Those who have read my posts know I don't care much for titles, rather treating all people as equal regardless of seniority and/or position in society.
This is why I have never acted on previous invitations to become a Civitate.
What made me change my mind was firstly the realization that I, as an experienced user, could and should also contribute to the forum by casting my democratic vote on matters that require user input.
And secondly because I feel Prarara would be an excellent patron to me.

So I hope you wil consider me as a Civitate under the patronage of Prarara.
And I wish you justice and much wisdom when handeling my case.
    -Erik.

    Meh
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

This is a May 1st joke right? One of the worst flamers who never got permabanned! PM me and I might try to reconsider for Prarara's sake. (although I think its some sort of Dutch thing)

Don't usually agree with his opinions. But he hasn't flamed in awhile and he is an active participant capable of debating very well. A yes from me, though a cautious one.

    Given today by Garb....

Well the super-liberal staff almost bent to another ostrakon-candidate....

He got warned today, Garb has been reminded that the warning should not be free....

So if he gets warned during his vote does that mean an automatic fail? I believe so....

You know. Being typically biased and not sufficently objective and thus grossly unsutiable for a position in staff I have quite a lot of sympathy with people who flame nazis.

Though I haven't read the context so maybe the person wasn't really a nazi.

    However, I'm abstaining anyway.

-no I'm not, I'm voting no

I would like to change my abstain to a no if automatic failure doesn't occur.

As I said- a cautious yes. His flame/aggresive posting shows that he hasn't and probably will never learn. Please change my vote to a NO.

Fails. What do we tell prarara asides from "No, hasn't changed, not good enough"?

I don't want to say "You failed". I give reasons when I tell someone. So give me reasons; I voted yes, tell me why he fails.

    How about.

    1) He has a warning
    2) As a Civitate, posting comments such as:
Don't even bother complaining, they won't listen.
All they wil do is close this thread.
hardly help the situation. The thread was about Complaints about TWC Moderating. The thread lead to a good discussion too.

When I saw that I was perturbed to put it mildly. Why get involved if you have that attitude?

A difficult vote. But with a recent warning a clear "no...he shall not pass"
From the pride and arrogance of the Romans nothing is sacred. But the vindictive gods are now at hand. On this spot we must either conquer, or die with glory (Boudiccas Speech, Tacitus, Annals, XIV, 35)
