nothing happens after I installed the mod (v4.0). I did install it on a copy of RTW, but that shouldn't make a difference should it? Any suggestions?

Are you pointing the installer to the right installation of RTW? Are you installing it to the data folder? Have you tried running RTw and see if your game has changed?

Uh, well have you even tried playing it yet? It more than likely worked, try playing the game.

just tried, didn't work. I'm looking through the copy, it seems to not installed at all, though I (or at least thought) was watching it install. And yes, I did install on data

what should I be looking for to see if it did actually install?

My only recommendation then is to reinstall my mdo, load up RTW and see if its worked.

edit: I think I see the problem. my copy doesn't have "data" in it, so basically I installed it into a non-existing folder. Would it still work if I don't install it into data?

No it needs to be installed into the data folder, why doesn't your copy of RTw have a data folder?

it does (I meant I accidently didn't install to the data folder), the mod doesn't want to seem to install there though

well, then I'm just gonna try on the original RTW, see if it works there

lo and behold, for some reason, it worked on the original install. I wonder why it wouldn't work for the copy...
