florin80 or Salvor Hardin, could you please tell me how the riders on this particular elephant are rendered ? I mean the sitting position ?
I downloaded RG but in the current unit the riders are positioned half 'inside' the elephant.

any idea how this was done originally ?

Yes, it was an animation made for RG. My understanding is that it was never finished and that the moment the riders shot their bows they`d spring up as it they were in a tower. Anyway, I think a wip of the animation might have survived, but are you able to finish it? And btw, the texture of the elephant above is put on a vanilla no tower model. A more complex model was made for RG, but what has survived is a very crippled model which would need fixing.

Actually it is not mughal type armour.All we see is colorful cloth on elephants and some basic covering.Mughal armour for elephants has heavy metal and knifes attached to their tusks.

Don't change it though. I know Indian kings of the Mauryan period used elephant armour, though examples may not survive.

well, I don't know if I could complete it or not unless I try, can I ? I'll definitely give it a try if you still have the WIP.
I don't need the elephant model itself because I've made my own Indian elephants since I was not satisfied with the models that I found.
