HELP PLEASE

so i just finally found out how to download this mod and now i cant play it because the dates are messed up i cant start a campaign or play battles
and everytime i exit the game this is what it says

C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\bi\ci\data\world\maps\campaign\the_new_shadow

expected start dat of campaign or battle

any help would be good thank you

Please make sure you have followed the installation instructions. It looks like you've applied the mod to the wrong version of the base game to me. Is your BI version 1.6?

i dont know what i could have done wrong
it says there is a script error something is wrong with line 13 column 1
and also if this helps when i tried playing the campaign it sayes the date was year 1 fourth age
i thought it was further imto the fourth age then that

Is your BI patched to 1.6? You can check the game's version by launching the mod and going to the Options screen; there's a number at the top-right corner.

wow i thought it would have been i bought the game when medieval 2 came out
mines 1.4 how can i get 1.6

Uninstall the mod (delete the bi/ci folder)
Download the BI 1.6 patch (try the SEGA site, but if that fails, googling "Barbarian Invasion 1.6 patch" should give you many results)
Apply the patch
Reinstall the mod
Play
