    Default Localised placement text?

    Sorry i know this is pretty basic, but i can't find a tutorial, or remember where one is, When i hold the cursor over a unit card it says, localised placement text, where do i go to edit this to the unit name.

    Thanks. :wink:

    I assume you mean unlocalised placement text? This means there is no entry for the unit in export_units in the text folder.

    Still doesn't work for me even with the export_units file and the enteries in it. Is it because I am using vanillia?

    If you changed file correctly it should work check you haven't got any odd spaces inside the {} and that name you are using is exactly the same as dictionary line in export_descr_units, including capital letters if you use any. eg. for unit entry:
    type garrison militia albion
    dictionary garrison_militia_albion ; militia albion ; sword
    category infantry
    class heavy
    voice_type Medium_1
    soldier militia_albion, 30, 0, 1
    officer standard_albion
    you need:
    {garrison_militia_albion} Unit Name

    {garrison_militia_albion_descr}
    blah, blah

    {garrison_militia_albion_descr_short}
    shorter, blah

    dont forget the space between
    {garrison_militia_albion}
    and the
    Unit Name

    Busy!!!
