Particularly the season 6 "Dragons" were hilariously stupid "Roar I'm a dragon" *American man wearing a suit*
And that recent episode where the Egyptian god Osiris was revealed to hang out in a bar in Dearborn, Michigan to find victims to judge in his little barn.
Still the actors are terrific (what's left of them anyway, series regulars are now down to 3 people ((2 if bobby is dead))
I had my hopes up for season 7 after the mediocre to bad season 6, "Mother of all" was a horrible "big baddie", but Crowley is the best character ever, so it kinda balanced out. Still the season left us with Castiel as god. Now that sat an interesting premise for season 7, with the brothers united against this Castiel-god, who would have made an awesome "Big Baddie" because the Brothers know him and he would think he did the right thing for the humans. But then Episode 2 happened and Castiel exploded and somehow created the Leviathans, who are as generic a supernatural villain you can get.
And its been rather stupid after that. With the Osiris episode as a low point.
