Only Juppiter and Heracles know the truth, and only them can see the general perspective of the world and its design!
We, humble and loyals followers, are only discussing, in a small and recondite corner, our hopes and limited views about the peripheral world of the Germans, but this has nothing to do with the great will of the Gods themselves!!!!

I have a question, what is the name of the helmet used by Dismounted Savaran? Just curious.
The design is called ridge helmet, because a ridge was used to connect two separate halves.

Yes Gaiten, the ridge helmet!
....one question: what is the strange string or Strip-shaped scale running down from the top of the helmet in the drawing posted by JH?
My partner and I gave opposite interpretations of the strip:....she told me that it is some form of decoration applied to the helmet but I find it very strange.....it's disturbing!

Yes, these are ribbons, colored or with patterns, flying in the wind while riding.

Yes fancy,.... the monumental spectacle of a charge at the trot of a mass of thousands of Persian Clibanarii should be fantastic, with silk tunics covering the armors, and mantles and the horses covered with robes also colorful.... and the sound of the drums of war(we in Italy call them 'Timballi'..I don't know the English for the horse drums...).....the Sassanids were really the 'Perfect Enemy' for Rome.
The beauty, the colors, the sounds,..... probably were really almost hypnotics, I see them as useful tools to mesmerize the enemy more than to terrify him.......
