Hi pacco, I've PMed you in regard to this. This is RS2 horse model and texture (horse and head textures)
Cheers
1. I'm not creating the units, julianus heraclius is, and he's already sent you a PM about this, if I understand it correctly. I have, however, made some textures for the units, mainly shields, some tunics and caparisons, but that's all. I have never done, or claimed to have done, any work on a horse model ( I don't model, by the way ) or a head texture.
2. I asked permission from leif_erikson to use the battle standards he made for the mod The Fall of Rome as a base for the ones I'm making for RO etc. He granted me permission to do so. I have the PM to prove this if you don't believe me. The one above is based on these, but I have modified the alpha pattern some.My RS2 banners pattern

Now, I assumed that these banners were made by leif_erikson - you're saying they're not? If they're made by you, then there's obviously been a misunderstanding or a mistake. But the bottom line is: I asked permission, I did not steal.
Warned me about what? And what have I moved? I have not moved anything, and I have never ever had any contact with you until you started accusing me of being a thief. I have never had any contact with the RSII team, in fact I have never even played RSII, which I admit, is a bit embarassing.I already warned you, because I saw my RS2 work on your units and you moved them.
Now, you could have handled this a lot nicer, instead you come here, accuse me of not only being a thief, but also one who tries to "cover it up". This makes me genuinely sad. If you believe that there's something wrong, you could have contacted the leader of this mod ( julianus_heraclius ) by PM, to clarify the situation. If we've made a mistake, you can trust us to rectify it in every possible way. We do not steal other people's work.
Now that the issue concerning the units have been resolved, I'd like to put this whole matter to rest and to clarify the situation about the battle standards. I want to start by saying that it's very unfortunate that this is handled in public, but since I've been publicly accused of being a thief, I see no other way to settle it. Besides, this preview has been tainted enough as it is.
When leif_erikson released his excellent banners for florin80's great mod, The Fall of Rome, I was very impressed with his work. So, I asked leif_erikson for permission to use them ( in a modified way ) for our IB mods. Being a good guy, leif_erikson granted my request. I did also browse through the FoR list of credits, which says:
I thought I had acquired all the necessary permissions, but I should have continued to read, because a bit further down, it also says:
So, I've made a mistake and missed this part. For that I sincerely apologize. But I want to make it absolutely clear: I did not intentionally steal, and I have never tried to cover anything up. It does not make any sense that I would ask leif_erikson for permission, but steal from pacco. A simple PM could have straightened everything out, and we could have avoided this whole mess.
I have also edited both this preview and the Palmyran one, and replaced the banners using the cloth texture made by pacco, with a new cloth texture made by me. The alpha pattern is still the work of leif_erikson, which I have modified. Finally I want to point out that the FoR credits does not specify which cloth texture was made by pacco, but I assume it is the "large centre one". If there's additional textures that I've missed, I would appreciate a PM so that I can rectify it at once.
Thank you for your kind words.
Good preview, I look forward to crushing the mighy Persian Empire once and for all.

A fine preview (another excellent one).
The clear distinction between pure sasanian troops and foreigners (like soldiers from media etc) is in my opinion the right way and reflects the diversity of people living in Mesopotamia, Iran, East-Iran and the area of Fars (or Pars) where the sasanian dynasty came from.
The shown units looking suberb and once more I'm sure that this modification becomes amazing.
The appearance of this preview is well done once more (esp @Joar).
Another very great preview. Congratulationsyou are doing a fine...very fine or even great job on it.
Now i now i'm beeing a pest: so when you show us the Gallic Empire preview? Or the roman preview? Or now you are just focus in the german tribes?
