hmmm, tried it but it's not outputting a new esf file for me when I hit Build ESF

I still end up with the esf file I started with, no changes saved

For me it works. I've tested it last night and modified greece's diplomatic relations and victory conditions. Till now no CTD.

@hip63 It did for me several times the same thing, but I've reinstalled it and then it started to work. In order to make your test easier try one of the basic functions in the window menu that can easily be checked, like victory conditions. Btw, I suppose you already have the EasyEsfETW installed. Hope it will work out for you eventually.

You mean that it takes the time it needs to convert xml2esf, you get no error messages and the output file is the old one? You can find always a copy of your last new esf in main EasyEsf for NTW directory as startpos.esf (it is copied in Esf Folder with the original name after all is done). Check that (if exists) to see if it has the changes. Perhaps something prevents (OS?) the copy process.

I will try it this week end.

But... It seems you forgot to add a tool to edit the towns and ports location, to add new towns and ports, and to split regions in two.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
This was a joke. From the list it's an extraordinary job you did there

EasyEsf creates, moves, copies, deletes, txt and xml files (which belong to EasyEsf application) so you need to have Admin privileges.

If you check the input file (http://s3.noelshack.com/upload/625482095535_pb_1.png) with the output one (http://s3.noelshack.com/upload/21302628754077_pb_10.png) you'll see that the time of last modification is the same (18:06):

That means that your new file never copied back to replace the input one. So this is the case: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...5#post10679395 (see also hip63 posts above). If you do not know how to gain Admin privileges one the program and its folders, do this: copy the EasyEsf for NTW from C:\Program Files in a location outside Program Files (e.g. your desktop) and run it from there.

    Hey Husserl,

I'm having difficulties with instaallation and get jRuby to install. It says it needs to find a Java.exe. I find one, try hooking it up and it says that the .exe is broken or something. Any help?

As far as I know you have to have Java installed (you should have it already since it is needed for many programs, e.g. Firefox). Anyway download and install Java.
