Need help: NTW crashing when battle is loading

Hi-

My game (Napoleon Total War) boots up just fine, and works great in campaign mode as well. However, when I start a battle, the game immediately crashes; in fact, it crashes while the battle just begins to load. I'm pretty sure that my specs suffice to run this game, but if not, please let me know. Specifically, the problem cited by my computer is "appcrash"

Also, if you have any advice regarding what I can do to fix this problem I would really appreciate it! For example, any recommendations regarding what drivers to get, etc would be much appreciated. I really want to play this game more than anything, so cool.

Computer: Dell XPS 15z (new laptop, just bought it a couple weeks ago, apparently sufficient to run Shogun Total War 2 in minimum mode)

• Battery: 8-Cell Lithium Polymer (64WHr, 2.2AHr, up to 8 hours, 22 minutes of battery life)
• Webcam: 1.3MP HD with dual array digital microphones
• 10/100/1000 Ethernet network standard, opt external USB Modem
• Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 802.11 agn wireless

1. Go into Nvidia Control Panel and set it for the 525m and Prefers maximum performance.
2. Delete the preferences_script.txt, let it rebuild, and hope for the best.

3. If this does not get battles, set the Nvidia Control Panel for the integrated chip, and fill out a bug report at www.nvidia.com.

500m series chips and their drivers seem to still conflict for some players.
