    Default Limiting Recruitment Number

I've read Epistolary Richard's short tutorial on how to script unit pool recruitment but I'm still confused.

What I want to do is to limit the number of Order Knights you can recruit (Templars, Hospitallers, Santiago and Teutonic) to, say, 4. Where do I put this script-- which file? Or do I make a new one for it? Do I use the inc_recruit_pool region_name or the inc_recruit_pool region_name value unit_name command?

    Is this even possible?

You have to tell me a few things here, Have you removed them from the guilds completely and are those buildings acting as non-guilds or are they still connected to guild file, EDG?

Ah oops, sorry about that. I'm currently modding Lusted's Lands To Conquer Mod for my own use, so that's my base. I kept the orders in the guilds, but I also let them be built at the huge cathedral level using EDB. I didn't think of editing the Guilds-- maybe I should come to think of it. If I'm going to limit their availability there's no reason for them to be limited to guilds.

    Thanks for the response!

in the EDB file you can set the unit pool maximum and the time it takes for the unit to be available again....here's an example

    recruit_pool "Teutonic Knights" 1 0.25 1 2 requires factions { teutonic_order, } and region_religion catholic 70
this is an entry for the teutonic knights guilds....the first number is the amount of units you get when building is built ...the second number is how fast the unit will replenish itself...the third is the max number of units in the recruit pool....the fourth is the starting experience of the unit....this entry allows one unit when built, one unit max in the the pool and each new unit will be available every 4 turns with 2 experience points....think of the replenish rate in terms of percentage per turn...so 0.1 = 10 turns, 0.25 = 4 turns, 0.33 = 3 turns, 0.5 = 2 turns and so on....

hope this helps you accomplish what your trying to do
