    Default Thrakian pelasts-a bit OP?

Does anyone think that they are a bit OP? I use them as slightly more expensive thorakitai(two chevrons+Gold sword and Gold Shield) After some testing, they seem to have a clear victory over both thorakitai, and the post-marian legionary cohorts

How can you compare anything with this: (two chevrons+Gold sword and Gold Shield)

And of course, they are there to cut through the armour of heavily armed units with their Rhopmhaias or what they are called

No, not really. They're good, yes, but they're hardly overpowered. They're good Skirmishers that have solid Melee ability, but they're still skirmishers and therefore on the frail side. If you're one of the factions that can recruit them natively, great - they're still only recruitable in six territories. Are they good? Yes. Are they better than Peltastai? Yes (Generally). Are they more useful than Peltastai? No.

Also, fix your stats. Thraikian Peltasts do not have 57 Attack with 66 Charge, they don't have Lethality of 10.26, and they don't carry 60 Javelins apiece.
I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

Thraikian Peltasts have less stamina and a much smaller AoR than Greek peltasts. This (almost) balances them out in comparison.

    They do in my version

But honestly, I think the lethality/AP attribute combination of their sword is a wee bit too much. It's the same as that of Drapanai, who wield their weapon two-handed, and hence with more power and control.

True enough, but if they had lower stats (say, no AP), would you bother using them? I mean, really the only times I go hunting for Thraikians rather than Peltastai is if I'm planning on using them to go after good Pike blocks from behind. In most cases, I'd rather just use (easily replenished) Peltastai as my Skirmishers, since if you actually use Thraikians for their melee abilities, they deplete quickly enough that they're much less useful.

Sorry... I copied from the unit list and shrank the font size, causing the epic mess up of stats. I was however, referring to a multiplayer enviroment, which I supose is definitely not a major part of Europa Barbarorum.

Yes they are op. Capable of anything non-phalanx non-cavalry non-archer units can do. Heck, aside from ones I have mentioned, you do not even need any other unit if you can recruit these.

They are incredibly OP. They are the best cheap flanking infantry you can get. Phalanx/Hoplite main line, Slingers to take out enemy skirmishers, and Thracian Peltasts to kill everything from the flanks. The combination of plentiful javelins and AP high lethality swords lets them rip through any enemy infantry from the flank more effectively than pretty much any other infantry Macedon/Epeiros can easily get.

No such thing as OP in Europa Barbarorum, every unit is balanced based on the gear they use.

Obviously if you power them up far beyond what is intended by upgrading them past bronze and spam them ahistorically you'll get crazy results, but 20 Gold/Gold freed slave units will also do crazy things with rocks in the same situation.

Thracian Peltasts are not balanced around their gear, they are the only Drapanai-wielding unit that has a shield (a rather good one) as well as the highest lethality sidearm for any unit other than elite two-handed swordsman.

Actually, the Peltastai Makedonikoi also have 12 Armour ... and the Thracians only have 11 (or 10, depending on which version you have).
They are simply too good at flanking, they have the same missile attack as normal peltasts, enough armor to last in melee, and a ridiculously powerful melee attack that just rips through everything.
Better Javelins, actually - one better Attack and slightly better range.

The thracians are OP the have the same lethality(.26) as the Drapanai, Bastarne, and Indian Longbowmen which have 2handed wicked weapons it should be reduced to .165(like , like other 1-handed AP units). I've reduced it in my install and increased a few others with a few others, they now have the right lethalities according to their respective categories. Most of these "fixes" have logic behind them, and were brought up at one time or another in the forums. If anyone else has any changes they use for balancing reasons, I'd like to hear them.

-increased bruttian infantry armour 1 point and defense skill 1 point
    -increased scordisci infantry(cordinau orca)longsword lethality from .12 to.225
-increased georgian medium swordsmen sword lethality from .1 to.13
-increased celtiberian skirmishers spear lethality from .125 to .13
-increased lusitanian skirmishers spear lethality from .124 to .13
-increased roman eastern auxilia sword lethality from .11 to .13
-increased thraikioi prodromoi sword lethality from .12 to.13
-decreased thraikian peltasts sword lethality from .26 to .165
-increased pontic thorakitai sword attack from 12, 4 to 14, 6 and increased letality from .1 to .13
-increased pontic thorakitai armour 3 from 9 to 12 and reduced defensive skill from 9 to 8, also gave them an extra javelin
