    the new President of the Senate


    Franco Marini, Senator, Sindacalist and political man of great prestige and seriousness
    the new President of the Camber of Deputies


    Fausto Bertinotti, Senator, Sindacalist, ex Secretary of the PRC (Comunist Party)
    the dimission of Berlusconi are fixed for tuesday, after that will open useful windows for the mandate to Prodi conferred from the President Ciampi, I augur at least three Communists in the executive

    the new President of the Republic


    Giorgio Napolitano (Naples, 29 june 1925) is the XI President of the Italian Republic. Previously he had been President of the Chamber of deputies in XI the Legislation and Minister of the Inside in the Prodi Government. ex member of PCI (old Italian Comunist Party)

    are Italian "communists" really hardline communists or are they just simply using the name?

    we have mainly two communist movements: the “Party of the Communist Refundation” (PRC) and the “Party of the Italian Communists” (PdCI), the second one much orthodox of the first one, only these two party have caught up 10% of the preferences to the last political elections. the party of the “Democratics of Left” (DS) exists also, communist former party passed to the social democracy that catches up 17% of the preferences but it does not go absolutely considered a communist movement for obvious collusion with the Italian capitalist lobbies.
