Game won't let me run as system admistrator

First of all, thanks for making such a well done and stunning game.

Recently my game stopped letting me play my campaign, I keep getting the "medieval 2 has encountered...." message whenever i try to load a game or start a new one.

I wanted to try and run the game as system administrator to see if it fixes the problem, but when i do i get this error message "windows cannot find 'kingdoms.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly then try again."

the game will start up just fine if i run it normally

any help would be great. thanks

Try running it on compatability mode for XP.
Disable UAC if on Vista or 7.
