    Default population growth -50%

    Hi all,
I've just installed RTR VII , i began a campaign and it says that i have -50% growth for the population (first turn)
Some cities have normale rate (+3.5% for example)
when i click city details to see the problem, there is nothing special

    have you heard of that?

There are two different variations of settlement, forts which have very little growth and few building options and proper settlements.

Population can't go below 400. So a growth of -50% only means you will forever be on 400 pop in that minor region. Only major regions have normal growth.

No, that is the intended population growth, those cities aren't meant to expand.

We've balanced the mod at M/M, which is the setting I'd advise you to use. As for difficult; we tried to create a fresh and challenging TW experience. Once you're used to it, I'm sure that you'll enjoy having to think a bit harder in order to be able to conquer a region

I advise h/h for a challenge, but with an AI which is still half reasonable.
