Hi
I play two time whit Seleucid Empire,After a while, I can no longer loaded saves.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem.?
Great map! So far it's been going great, no crashes or other funny stuff so far. I'm at around 210BC iirc.
Only thing is that when I started a custom battle (to test out a couple new units), both armies drowned lol.
So I had to change the coordinates in custom_locations.txt so I could at least play custom battles again.
Only other thing is that a battle when I was sieging Alexandria (the large city in Egypt at the coast) and was attacked by an Egyptian army, after pressing "Start" to start the battle, the entire game locked up. I presume this was a 1-off. Autoresolve still worked and all manual battles afterwards (different locations) also worked.
How do I implement RS2 textures? :o ;[
i play rtw onlu this map, i must say this is a wonderful map
i wish it works for bi hehehe![]()
This is my favorite map! But let's say I have mods that already use it. Can I upgrade them with this version? Also all the provinces are captureable right?
I'll look for it
Sorry beats my knowledge of problem solutions
Im asuming it is a CTD related to something happening anywhere else in the map; also you could have tried doing something different in the turn with the CTD (like dividing your amy; moving some characters, etc). If you were able to besiege the city without problems that should mean that the map is stable and it was a problem related with the above.
Off course it would, provided you (or anyone interested in) would make the proper moding work that it'd require.
Mmmm if you have some knowledge of mapping modding you could give it a shot by modifying the .tga files, and maybe change some starting position of armies since most mods that use MM have done little to extensive modifications.
Okay, thanks for the info.
Fantastic map. Just what i wanted for the Seleucids instead of an invisible wall about halfway through the empire.
One detail bugs me though - it seems like you tried to implement the unused trade goods such as fish and horses but ingame their tooltip says they're dogs and pig resources, necessary to train wardogs and napalm-hogs. Any way to fix that?

Well TBH i didn't ported all the goodies from MM 2.0 of ngr; that version had some fixes aditional units etc. This "mod" was basically about geographical features, not playability. However ahowl11 has been working on a actual playable version of a vanilla RTW + MM; his own Mundus Magnus 5.5, it has some add-ons and includes the geographical accuracies of this map. You should check it out.
Probably you didn't deleted the .rwm (or something) file before starting.
Will some hero do a similar mod for Rome Total War 2??? It would be awesome!
Personally I was thinking to have something like a straight line from modern days Bangladesh up to Russia, adding few of the Indian Kingdoms cited by the authors telling the tale of Alexander the Great, and 1 Chinese Faction (like Ming or something) and few of the barbarian tribes that dwelled in russia for centuries before invading europe in the 5th century AD.....
It's a lot of work I know.....but would be super awesome indeed!!! =)
Thanks a lot for the attention!
Ave atque Vale!
--Can this be played on Steam?
--I see the expanded map, perfect.
--Have units been edited to use larger than normal numbers of troops? or are troop numbers still Vanilla RTW?
