Other than the Patriot and Last of the Mohicans, what other movies are there that feature 18th Century warfare?

Master and Commander maybe, but I'm not completely sure on the date it is based on.
[EDIT] It's during the Napoleonic Wars just checked it. Been awhile since I've seen it. Early 19th century close enough?

Same with the Hornblower itv series as well + the gregory peck Hornblower film (I think!).
PS avoid the Patriot at all costs - a truly %££" & unrealistic film

Well IMO. The movie is actually quite realistic at some scene. Also the movie plot involve the battle of cowpen
And the battle of Yorktown. Both in which the American archive decisive victory. Despite having a little bias on it. I'd say this movie is worth checking out![]()

I found the crossing really bad (especially the depiction of the "Hessians"and the "american" german they speak *g*).
There's an HBO miniseries about "John Adams". I don't know if it contains a lot of warfare, but the few bits that I've seen of it seemed quite well-made. I don't live in America, so I can't watch it online, and I can't buy the DVD either (stupid DVD-regions!). For example, I really liked the audience with king George:

PS: And I have to mention the film with the best (although very short) 18th century street scene: the Perfume.

Hessians and Prussians have as much in common as Prussians and French though.
And yes, the "German" that American actors sometimes have to speak in Hollywood movies to sound more "authentic" is absolutely cringeworthy. The most embarrassing example I've found so far is Kevin Bacon in X-Men First Class. I could hardly understand what he was saying. Honourable mentions go to Die Hard...
BTW, this is where Barry Lyndon shows its class (again). The film has quite a few passages in German and French, and at least the German part was well done, probably because those actors were native speakers (or actually skilled at foreign languages). It also has Prussians.

The Sharpe TV series are good for Napoleonic.
They seek him here, they seek him there,
Those Frenchies seek him everywhere!
Is he in heaven? Or is he in hell?
That damn, elusive, Pimpernel!
On this topic...does anybody know of a movie of the Great Northern War that isn't in Russian?
I'd recommend the Mini Series about the French Revolution, produced for its 200th anniversary:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098238/
It features also the war between revolutionary France against its foreign enemies.
Pirates of the Caribean.
