Two big problems

Hi thanks for this service this help a lot to players and it´s great!

1- My Pc is windows 7 very modern (64bits) but i´ve installed Rome Total War gold Edition´s DVD and UAC desinstalled and i play to RTW (or BI) and ctd inmediatly B-U-T!! the problem is game still runing but im on desktop and i cannot play that anyway and i veeery frustrated

2- Triyng uninstall the whole game (for reinstall), windows (oficially) uninstall game but when i put again dvd in pc and press install the game says " another version of rome are installed, uninstall game and try again" , thats lie becouse i uninstalled game as i said

please help to me and another players reading my troubles

For #2, dlete the Rome Total War folder, run Eusing Free Registry Cleaner, reboot, then try it.

CA's uninstaller does not cleanup the registry keys and install info behind itself.

#1 can be how permissions are set through your security layer, drivers not loaded, driver conflicts, amonst other goodies.

Impossible delete all traces of rtw and impossible reinstall game

I have Win7 64 bit and it can be done.

1. UAC still off?
2. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=397636 starting at the C: drive icon. ALL STAEPS.
3. Unhide all files, folders and drives in Folder Options.
4. Seach for Rome in Computer.

Well im afraid of i had to format whole unit F: (where was rome) with hundreds of files because i´ve deleted ALL with the "rome" word and DONT let me reinstall it. I´ve used Revo uncleaner, Tuneutilities, your Easing and nothing and nothing..

No, impossible i don´t find in registry the Creative Assembly suggested by this web, better i forget this

Depending when you bought the discs, it can be the creative assembly, Activision, even Sega.

Mine is under Activision but it's the old original 3-cd set.

I think it will either be Activision or The Creative Assembly.

Sega came later.

If all these other things fail, you could system restore to before you installed it. If you are unsure of changes to documents and such, save them to an external.
