Need help! game won't open!

okay heres my problem, I try opening medieval2.exe, kingdoms.exe, and 'The Third Age'...they all start loading and then just stop...i've disabled UAC, selected full control under security tab, selected run as administrator and selected running compatibility to xp (Service 3) and none work

The thing is that it worked before on the same computer, and suddenly stopped working. I checked in task manager and it shows up in processors and then disappears...weirdanyway could use some help

ps, my windows media player stopped working, saying 'server execution failed'...thought they might be connected.

That is indeed a problem!
First you should get rid of any spyware you have!

Deinstall that! It will tell you it happened... but that is a lie! Go to the directory that should have been deleted and delete it!

Then please post your log file!

If you do not know what I mean check this:

In your main TATW directory there is a .cfg file!
Edit it! ( Notepad )
search for the logfile entry ( it is easy to find, there is "log file" written above it ) and remove the prefixes of the "trace" entry! Make it look like the "error" entry above!
Look for the folder where the .cfg file is saved! You will find it easily!
Save it!

Start the game... wait for it to crash... open that logfile ( .cfg ) and post the last 20 lines! ( There will be like 10 thousend... That is normal! )

I scanned my computer for spyware with McAfee (Fully Purchased) and it said no spyware

do u mean uninstall windows media player

and the cfg thing stays the same amount of lines 68 lines
