Is this possible?

Hi.

I'm trying to edit a horse archer unit to allow it to attack towers, walls and gates, and assault a city on its own. As in, firing arrows on the buildings to destroy them.

I've tried to edit descr_projectile.txt and export_descr_unit.txt, but it simply won't work.

So, as the thread title says, is it possible to do this. And if it is, what do I have to do to allow this?

I once tried such a thing myself, here are the results:

It is not possible for a unit without siege equipment to recive orders that they shall attack buildings.
But it is possible to damage buildings with projectiles fired by units without siege equipment (If their projectiles have building damage).

So you can only shoot your way into a city if a group of soldiers stands before every gate that allows projectiles to miss it and crush the gate behind them. (Won't happen )

But you can destroy enemy siege equipment extremly fast if you fire at the unit that is carrying it with your boosted archers.
