    Default Are these things possible?

    A bunch of things I'd like to change:

    • Making naval battles more decisive - so typically one side's ships all sink
    • No gaps between units in line (especially pikemen)
    • Stakes in front of entire unit, not just half of it, so line of units with stakes has full line of stakes in front of it
    • Making visually open areas in cities available for units, half of them have invisible barriers right now
    • Removing blockade missions

    Any idea if they're possible?

    i know missions are editable by far..so i guess the last one (removing blockade missions) is perfectly doable...unfortunately i don't know how exactly you can do it ..i've only found the text.file about missions and not the code one (maybe there isn't one ..maybe you just code missions through campaign script or something)

    about the rest i don't know

    Making naval battles more decisive is very doable change the red 0 to 8 or maybe even higher. Do it for every type of ship and you'll have some naval killers on your hands.

    Don't know how, maybe putting each ship 1 man of crew?

    From descr_campaign_db.xml:

    <naval_sink_modifier float="1.0"/>
    <naval_sink_offset float="1.0"/>
    <naval_sink_max float="100.0"/>

    Stakes thing is hardcoded. You could create formations with overlapping units to make a solid line of stakes.

    Gaps between units is formations_ai, and gaps between men is the formation line in edu as well as the soldier line's radius setting.

    Desc_missions.txt is the place for blockade missions.

    I m not sure about stakes, i assume it was made the way it is so to make flanking more doable, or cavalry wont have much chance.
