    Default a couple of questions

    can someone help me out here

    how do i make the ai want ceasfires more (without being able to demand money from them) what code do i shove into ai_db??

    and how do i essentially force the ai to produce more merchants and diplomats, priests have been soughted via db file

    1. Apart from playing the campaign on Easy, you could modify these files:
    descr_diplomacy.xml
    descr_faction_standing.txt
    As long as you are not clearly stronger than them they should like you...


    2. I don't exactly know about this one, but increasing the max mumber of those agent types in the edb (possibly only for ai) could help as well.

    is there no way to do it in such a way that if the ai is say fighting more than 3 opponents then they go around asking for ceasefires from the factions. even if they are winning. this is so as to stop the ai from spreading themselves as thin as they often do.
    because it seems that late game in my mod they have nothing defending the cities while at the start they have like half a stack per city.
    so to me it seems they are just never getting ceasefires

    You could try adding this one to ai_db (not tested, so cannot guarantee):

    maybe something to do with this bit here? if i increase the number highlighted in red then ceasfires are more likely?? will have to test it.

    You can, of course, but to me it looks as if the faction rather looks for additional allies against it's currrent enemies by this.
    (pushing the priority for an alliance, which cannot be offered to an enemy)
