Brave trait
What does the brave trait do for an AI general who has it? I know it affects authority and morale for the other units, but does it affect the way he fights too? Would he become more suicidal?

Re: Brave trait
No just his units will have more morale so they will fight more before rout

Re: Brave trait
No the behavior of general and his army depends upon the BAI not traits, these are only bonus factors that they get. Brave trait and all its sublevels give a boost in troop morale and authority.
happy already explained what troop morale does while authority will give that general a small chance to seize the throne if it's in his luck.

Re: Brave trait
Two enemy generals, both with a brave or inspirationally brave traits, have been making a show of themselves on the battlefield. Perhaps the trait improves also their own morale, which may explain why their fighting looks foolish at times - when they are heavily outnumbered.

Re: Brave trait
A general gets the brave trait when he does something heoric and perhaps it is more important that it indicates what he won't do. The alternative is that he runs away and gets the coward trait - so a general with the brave trait is more likely to stand and die than run away.
