I want to label a character when he comes of age. I know his name (he is uder age in the Family tree). Is there any command that can help me?
Basically I want to sed him off_map and immediately re-spawn him (with a custom portrait).

I haven't tried using a label in a descr_strat character_record entry but I suspect that it doesn't work. There is no way to label character's 'on the fly' with commands. Although (I think) you can give him a label when you bring him back in the spawn_army, if that's of any use by then.
Can't you just use his name in the send_off_map? Though the risk is that someone else might have that same name by the time he comes of age.
ok, I used his name and it works. But the portrait remains the same. Any idea?
Hmm. Never tried that before but I just gave it a quick go without luck. Maybe it's one of those things that just doesn't work.
I seem to recall that someone gave Eomer the correct portrait in TATW. No idea how, nor which submod/complilation.
EDIT: I had a quick scan through some posts. Nothing concrete but I suspect that the Eomer thing was solved by spawning him instead of come-of-ageing. Perhaps you could do that: kill him when he comes of age and spawn a replacement.![]()

No I can't, he is my faction heir! I think I'll abandon the idea...
