On, a billboard at work today was an advertisement for a local radio station. But all it said was "scorpions sting barenaked ladies"(and the radio station). I thought for many seconds on what this meant then realized that it was three bands. Scorpions, Sting, and Barenaked Ladies. I giggled to myself about the thought of a scorpion stinging a barenaked lady and the reaction it would producebut then I realized that that billboard showed some actual media creativity, and I was astounded. The advertisement was in no way successful (as in I have no desire to listen to that station now) but it did get me thinking about what other creative sentences that would be produced by using only band names.
I've tried to think of some but it's difficult as there are very few bands that use verbs for their names. So i'll put it up to this community. Get your creative juices flowing and find some humorous (or not) sentences that use only the names of bands or musicians.
RULES:
-Only band names, names of memeber in bands, or solo musical artists can be used.
-Only words that are part of one of the bands names.
-If a multi-word band name or artisit is used, the entire name must be used. With the exception of articles such as "The"
-Prefixes and Suffixes can be added for grammer (but extra challenge try not to)
my few and meager attempts.
-The police rush the scene.
-Hearts kiss the smoke.
-Friends cure the darkness.
Let's see what everyone can come up with.
