I know he will be in Dorne, I am telling him to make sure his armies avoid lands sworn to the true king.

    You're up Stark.

His Highness Prince Doran is not sending any armies anywhere but the prince's pass. Oberyn Martell has an entourage of nobles from our lands to act as advisors and nothing more, surely such a small group cannot be a threat.

should Prince Oberyn Martell attampt any assault upon The Stormlands, The Reach or the forces guading the passes he will be dealt with accordingly. He is also warned to march directly north and to not take any diversions lest he be mistaken for a robber and butchered.

There is no need to worry, there is no court in the Reach nor the Stormlands that deserves the honour of a visit by the Red Viper. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Hopefully Prince Oberyn will reach King's Landing in time to bend his knee to King Renly Baratheon.

Why should anything change? In the book once Renly was dead, very few Lords actually went over to Stannis. Most of them either reverted back to the crown, or went with the Tyrells who married into the crown.

So let Martin keep the Tyrells and when Renly dies, have him control Renly as if the Lords swore to Highgarden. if Martin wants to bend the knee to Joffery, then thats what happens. If he wants to keep fighting, then thats what happens.

actually, 4/5 of the lords and knights went over to stannis, the rest and foot at bitterbridge was leaderless and kept with the tyrells. they bowed to joffrey after the tyrell-lannister alliance was concluded.

ive no problem if martin keeps tyrell, but id like a reason why the stormlords should join highgarden.

danscall is the admin, so its up to him.

Fine, how about this? Should Renly die then his forces will withdraw to The Stormlands, the same will go for Highgarden. Should one of the two sides in the north gain an advantage I will jump in and even it out

i get to the password screen.

understand, i dont want any random outake for any faction. who says highgarden wont join king stannis? i just like some lore based action, thats the reason we have an admin playing dorne etc, why should it not apply to us?

Lorewise they did not join Stannis so I will not make them, only the army in the south with Cortnay will join should Renly Baratheon die.
The other army will head to Highgarden.

I get to the password screen on all but the Stark one. ( Including the last file before Stark, Tyrell) Stark still loads back to main menu.

As for Renly. My memory remembered Stannis not getting much of anything from Renly's death. I thought most just went back to their keep except the ones who joined Highgarden. Besides, I tend to think lore is not going to work for the players. The Admin does it because he isnt supposed to be a real player. If we stuck to lore, Jamie never would have killed Edmure, and Renly/Tyrell would change goals drastically in the middle of their game.

I agree a lore game for the players themselves can be interesting, but the praticality of it is daunting. I vote if Renly dies, nothing changes unless the Renly player chooses too. My reasoning is behind the scenes. If we want a lore based reason....

I suggest that Renly instead of marrying Mace's daughter, he marries his 5th born son, the Knight of Flowers! And togeather with his....ummm queen? They united the two kingdoms under one crown. With Renly dead, the queen is now the King!

In all seriousness, Why not just have Edric Storm stand up and have the Storm Lands unite around him? Sure he is a bastard, but really at this point all that would be needed is a figure head for the real master mind in Highgarden.

yep that worked. Btw, I didnt want to point it out last turn, but I really screwed up when I took the fort, but abandoned it. My thinking was Tully could take it over, but I wasnt think I would have to declair war on myself to do it. I dont know what they have in the water in the River Lands, but damn.....

cause it would take atleast 5 to 8 turns to get a dip from Winterfell to the Twins, and thats too long considering that while the two sides are at war, they cant support one another.

2 turns actualy if you create one as the Tullies and send it to Robb

King Renly Baratheon, The First of His Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm.
Requests that all loyal houses folow him to war against the false king Joffrey and the Lannisters. Any that do so will be richly rewarded.

Half the River Lands were over run before the first turn, who has money for dips? Now the Starks, they have plenty of money.
