Bit late? Yeah, what is left of the Riverlands other then Freys? Its like the old saying, what will be left in the world after nuclear war? Twinkies and cockroachs. Replace cockroachs with Freys.

In all seriousness, are you planning on making the sides more even in 1.0? Sure the lore has Lannisters like Orcs, but certainlly the books were not this disproportionate.

As for this game, The Riverloards will take up serivce with the Starks. I got two stacks of much better forces in the North. Greyjoys wont get far. If Tywin wants to make friends, he would do well to let my generals return North. If not a cripple will pay a giant to kick your ass.

yeah, we will make the riverlords able to hold out longer, and likely script some stark reinforcment. the enhanced makes the lannisters even stronger, btw.

lord tywin will allow the northern forces free passage if both robb stark and brynden tully travel to kings landing in person and bend the knee to king joffrey. their armies may return home for now, his grace has no need for forces such as these.

now im going to collect the twinkies, heh.

I would not bother with bending the knee to Joffrey, he will not live for long

"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"

We rather die then bend the knee to that monstrosity. The boy killed our Lord Father and you want us to bend the knee? Only thing that will bend will be my elbow when I am swinging Ice down on that boys neck. Let Robb and his generals go North and no one will come south for Jamies head. If Robb dies, ill have Bran ride down on Hordor's back at the head of much stronger Stark stacks.

On a side note, The Bastard of Bolton invites you all North for his marriage to the Lady Hornwood. He so would very much like to serve you some flay de Hornwood. They say the fingers are oh so very tender.

Let it be known that the Tyrell armies south of King's Landing have been routed by royal forces commanded by the Hand of the King, Lord Tywin Lannister.

The Lord Commander of the King's Guard, Ser Jaime Lannister, reports another victory over the rebellious riverlords. Brynden Tully has fled north.

Ser Kevan has taken Riverrun. The Lords Bolton and Umber perished during a noble but futile defence.

Robb Stark is under siege in the last remaining fort held by the northmen, and his time is running out. Should he persist in his defiance, his blood is on his own hands. Only submission will save him now.

This has been Petyr Baelish for 7K-News. And remember, a Lannister always pays his debts.

To our good Lords Tyrell and Baratheon

The King graciously accepts your surrender and awaits his uncle in Kings Landing to swear fealty. All Stormland fleets and armies will assemble at the Blackwater to subdue the rebel Stannis, save for a force strong enough to defend Storms End.
One of Lord Tyrells son may swear fealty in his fathers stead for now, once theyve joined the muster at the Blackwater.

We further command all Lords of Westeros, especially Lord Brynden Tully, Lord Robb Stark, Lord Robert Arryn and Lord Balon Greyjoy to renew their oaths of fealty to us.

Joffrey Baratheon, the First of his Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm

id like danscalls opionion on this, he is the admin.
but there is always heroic efforts, last ditch defences, backstabbing and moneygrubbing...

i vote for the next one to be lore based, too, if its an alliances mod. i mean, arryn and dorne?

Ehh, it depends. If we want to prolong the hotseat, I'll devote a certain amount of attention to using the 4 admin houses as sort of a balancing aid; attacking the strongest houses where possible to maintain as much of an equilibrium as possible.

That would have worked better from the beginning though.

but then it wouldnt have been lorewise, right?

but i have all confidence in your admin skills. heh.

I love the idea of keeping it lore, but the game isnt set up in such a way to make a compelling lore game. Lannisters are too strong and everyone else is too weak. If we play a lore game, a handycap or cease fire time would be needed. The only problem with the cease fire time is the Lannisters and their endless money can keep pace with the rest of westeros in building armies. What could the handycap be? Gold? Woman? Golden Woman?

I personally like the idea of using the admin factions to even things out. Another idea I had was to increase the size of the other alliances and thus their military power without giving more help to the Lannisters. It breaks from lore, but its not a huge leap. Give Arryn to Starks and Tullys and Dorn to Tyrell and Renly. Lore wise, Dorn was on the fence toward siding with Renly before he died. As for Arryn, well all it takes is a change of heart for Lady Arrny to suddenly forgive her father and aid her childhood home and her sisters family. If you need more, just pretend that Littlefinger dumped her.

but that leaves stannis and greyjoy quite powerless on the fence, while the lannister have to compete 2 vs 6 - not speaking about the game right now, but future ones.

that aside, would you continue this one, with danscall trying to even it out?

and yes, i am a sore winner
