Ship related crashes

In my recent game, I have a nanban trade ship that is "cursed". It has lost some of its crew, and if I try to move it to a port, I get a CTD. If I try fight with that ship (or pirates attack it) I get a CTD. If I try to scupper (disband) it, CTD. So basically I can't do anything with it, except move it around. I could live with this but now another one of my ships has been affected by this same bug (Nanban trade ship with full crew). This is quite annoying as that ship is guarding an important waterway which has recently been infested with pirates. I suppose I could move those ships out of harms way and get new ones and hope they don't start glitching too but those ships cost me upkeep.

So, am I the only one with this bug? Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I tried to google but can't seem to find any info on this. My TWS2 is fully patched.

try loading a previous save to see if you can get around it. if not attach the save and i will see if it ctd on me too, then email it to ca for them to look at.

My apologies but after several tries I could not upload the savegame as an attachment. If I try to upload to save, my computer freezes (and a hard restart is required). I believe this is caused by ASUS mobo drivers (they haven't made ones specifically for win7, and this only started appearing once I upgraded to win7. This also happens if someone tries to access my computer over lan, even if firewall is off)

Anyway, loading an earlier save (5 turns earlier) did not help, the problem still persisted.

try zipping the file before uploading it as an attachment.

I tried zipping and rarring it, no luck. This is a problem with my computer, the same thing happens if someone tries to access shared files on my computer over LAN even with no firewall. This does complicate things quite a bit though. I'll try googling one more time if I can fix this.

I'm posting this on another computer, maybe I'll have better luck this time... Anyway, the offending ships are south of Kyushu. The other one is near the Annamese warlords trading post.

EDIT: Seems I cannot even move that ship anymore (I get a CTD), and that saved game is thus rendered unplayable, as that ship will be attacked by pirates when I end my turn. In other words, my game is now unplayable. I get a CTD no matter what I do.

I have exactly the same bug. Whenever I give order to my Nanban trade ship the game crashes. Funny is that I have the bug exactly after one year of your post. 13 november Nanban trade ship cursed day? Sad is that the bug was not removed after one year.
