    Default Understanding Recruit_pool

    I spent plenty of time messing with the RTW text files so I know the basics of editing the text files, my biggest point at the moment is the unit pool. Am I right in assuming that 1 point is one unit available for recruitment and that setting the points earned to 0.25 for example means that it would take 4 turns for a unit to become available again, am I right?

    also does show_err work on MTW2

    and is there a one stop shop guide to editing the export_descr_buildings folder.

    sorry if there are already multiple threads like this one.

    Yes that right.

    Edit: I have looked through the guide and its quite good but one thing I don't understand is if

    1.0 is one turn
    0.50 = 2 turns
    0.25= 3 turns

    then why is 0.1 ten turns. I am not very good with mathematics so maybe its a simple thing that keeps eluding me.

    0.25 should be 4 turns?

    to answer your question: 0.1 x 10 = 1, therefore that's 10 turns! no you are not very good with maths, my advice; buy a calculator!

    I did mean 0.25 is 4 turns as said earlier in my post. Also there is no need for sarcasm, giving someone a set of car keys no more makes him a driver than giving me a calculator makes me a mathematician. But thanks for your input regardless.

    0.1 means 10% per turn, 1.0 means 100%.

    I'm sorry if I'm digging out a too old thread, but it covers (partially) what I'd like to ask. I want recruitment time to be twice as big. But cutting down those values in half on every unit in every building will take like for ever and is very inconvenient. (Even though I have part of work behind me already)
    Is there any program to edit this file, like there were some for RTW?

    Have a look in here, if there is one, this is the place it would be.

    An option called 'Find and replace all'.
