Yeah, Swearing Mudcrabs Mod is more than enough for me.
"When I die, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like Fidel Castro, not screaming in terror, like his victims."
My shameful truth.
I'd prefer a "Selective Contagious Muteness" mod.

I don't think it would amount to much work to go through the kiddie conversations and change them to more...appropriate dialog.
"Every idea is an incitement. It offers itself for belief and if believed it is acted on unless some other belief outweighs it or some failure of energy stifles the movement at its birth. The only difference between the expression of an opinion and an incitement in the narrower sense is the speaker's enthusiasm for the result. Eloquence may set fire to reason." -Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.

Or maybe not...

That 4GB mod seems to be required for this mod, which I think looks really good:

^ look at those improved landscape textures!!! Wow!
Has anyone tried the above "Serious HD Retexture Landscape Skyrim" mod?
I am being an apprehensive n00b about modding this game though. :-/

There's really no need to be. TES has always been modder/mod friendly. There is a possibility that a bad or dirty mod might cause some problems, but as long as you keep some backup saves available they won't hurt you. To be absolutely sure you are good to go, make a folder outside of /documents/my games/skyrim and copy all of your saves to that folder. If you discover that you have installed a mod that causes problems, get rid of the mod, delete all the save in your /doc/games/skyrim folder then copy the backups back. I've never heard of a mod causing problems that required reinstallation.I am being an apprehensive n00b about modding this game though. :-/
The Nexus has a comments section for each mod. People WILL make comments about broken mods. Lots of comments. Make sure you read the "about" section for installation and uninstallation. If you have questions, just make a post in the Nexus forums or the comment section for that mod. (The comment section is actually part of the Nexus forums.)
I've never had a single issue with a bad mod. I've had a problem or twenty figuring out compatibility issues and load orders, but that's not going to be an issue for you at this point.

No, not general realism, but in-universe realism and plausibility? Yes.
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...
Should we have a little fun with a plausability debate?

I wouldn't want that because it looks stupid as hell personally.
