Because they don't have a spanking mod yet and about every child in Skyrim needs to be punished.

I'd prefer a "Selective Contagious Muteness" mod.

If I had a clue about modding I'd be doing a 'children shut the hell up' mod.

I don't think it would amount to much work to go through the kiddie conversations and change them to more...appropriate dialog.

I could have my children be the voices, but that would be creepy with the kill mod

Because there is something weird about seeing children fall from great heights and just walk away like nothing happened

    Sorry.

    No, please! Not the sword!

I love that mod. Randomly hearing " YOU" gets me every time.

4GB. It's working on my installation.

That 4GB mod seems to be required for this mod, which I think looks really good:

Has anyone tried the above "Serious HD Retexture Landscape Skyrim" mod?
I am being an apprehensive n00b about modding this game though. :-/

There's really no need to be. TES has always been modder/mod friendly. There is a possibility that a bad or dirty mod might cause some problems, but as long as you keep some backup saves available they won't hurt you. To be absolutely sure you are good to go, make a folder outside of /documents/my games/skyrim and copy all of your saves to that folder. If you discover that you have installed a mod that causes problems, get rid of the mod, delete all the save in your /doc/games/skyrim folder then copy the backups back. I've never heard of a mod causing problems that required reinstallation.

The Nexus has a comments section for each mod. People WILL make comments about broken mods. Lots of comments. Make sure you read the "about" section for installation and uninstallation. If you have questions, just make a post in the Nexus forums or the comment section for that mod. (The comment section is actually part of the Nexus forums.)

I've never had a single issue with a bad mod. I've had a problem or twenty figuring out compatibility issues and load orders, but that's not going to be an issue for you at this point.

I try those two mods and cause me weird issues inside buildings or caves, some walls are blue sky, anyway, i just to wait for mods that add new weapons and armor, id like to see a real Roman or Medieval apparel, and a quest mod.

Strange! Yesterday, i took the plunge and added the no more blocky faces and the rest of the character body upgrade series by the same mod author. Last evening I experienced my first blue sky interior... Except it was in some woman's house (can't remember whom).

It adds spells, craftables, items, and powers and it looks like it's constantly getting updated (v0.38 was out last night, today is v0.39).

I'm gonna give it a try soon, hopefully it won't mess with anything and cause a bunch of CTDs like some other mods were doing.
seems to be your general quantity over quality mod. Dual wielding Great Swords? Yeah right.
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

What the game really needs is a killable everyone mod.

What's wrong with dual wielding Great Swords?

You aren't going to say something about realism I hope.....

No, not general realism, but in-universe realism and plausibility? Yes.

Should we have a little fun with a plausability debate?

I wouldn't want that because it looks stupid as hell personally.
