If you were running for political office
In your state, what would you run on?
In Louisiana, it would have to be more social programs, overhauling education, EXTREMELY excalating the long dead war on drugs, and ridding the people of corrupt law enforcement. People down here are poor, under educated, and surrounded by drugs and corrupt law enforcement.

In North Carolina I would run on education reform because we really need it. Im convinced my counties school board, inspired by Caligula, is made up of horses, retarded horses. I would also run on job security and tighter control on illegal immigrants. We have loss alot of textile jobs in NC and I would hazard to guess we have one of the largest illegal immigrant populations. I would also run on the basic pro-life, no gay marriage christian principles as we still to have a large religous population in NC.

What I would do as a Pennsylvania politician...
Education
I would form a commission made up of 3 teachers, 3 principals, 3 custodians, 3 guidiance counselors, and 3 educational psychologists who will make up a comprehensive education reform plan which I will push before the state legislature. One member of each category will be from an inner-city school, one from a rural school, and one from a suburban school.
Gambling
Will form legislation protecting small-time gambling, like Poker games and sports betting. This is to prevent state law enforcement from breaking up and fining people whose sole breach of the law was a weekly poker game.
Corruption
Hire investigators from New Mexico to investigate corruption, and then fire all state employees who are found to abuse their power or state money for personal gain. Being from New Mexico, these people have no vested interest in any employee.

If I was the Governor of Washington I would make sure that I set a trade policy that benefits the entire state, not just Microsoft.
I would run things, not Bill Gates.
