do i buy medieval 2 total war too? can window 7 work on medieval 2 total war kingdoms by doing propterties, compatibillity, run this program in compatibillity mode for: windows 2000

if you mean you bought kingdoms from steam and not vanilla medieval 2 then yes you need to purchase that aswell to let the game. dont know about compatability mode but as the game was released around 2005 i think, it should probably run on windows 2000.

M2TW is not 100% compitable with W2000, the game came out in 2006, kingdoms in 2007.
