    Default Campaign Map help

When I boot up the game and try to play as such and such faction it starts up, but I can't see mini map, the end turn and mini map is just white, when I hover over it it still ends turn or something. The settlement details on the large map (Like not clicking, but where it says the name, shows happiness, if its building, rioting, and pop growth) is extremely long and showing what it's supposed to.

    Any help?

    You should follow this post:

So if you dont know how to unpack its not a problem. In this attachment you will find a data folder, copy the ui folder into your main game D:\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data. So this ui folder must be in your unpacked data folder.

This is only because you have not installed the KGCM patches to the correct place. Please see the download thread for instructions on how to install patch 4.2 and 4.3 correctly.

The old display fix is no longer needed unless for some unknown reason someone wishes to play on version 3.0 and not update to the latest patches. Patch 4.2 included the display fix and also fixes the graphics for patch 4.3 and HHB.

Ok, well I downloaded patch 4.3 (I already have 4.2 installed) and It won't let me install it because Norton Security has found threats. This is from the mediafire website. I can't download using Megauploads because it says the download is temporarily unavailable even though I had the page up about 5 minutes ago.

Disable any virus protection that you have active before attempting to download/install any files. I believe that you are getting a false positive from Norton. No other reports have been received and I uploaded the file myself (to MediaFire-151 downloads so far), after scanning for viruses.

That would be a good idea, but I don't know how to turn off virus protection on Norton security.

Would disabling my firewall have the same effect?

Go the the Norton web site and see if there are any instructions on how to disable it temporarily. If not, then search the web for help.

Ther firewall could interfere with the download, so you may have a corrupted file. It should not effect the installation of an uncorrupted file.
