What if faction leader die?

Hi all.

I modified end campaign date to 9999 and victory condition so I can play very, very long campaign.

My question is, what if (if possible) leader of my faction die? I play England, so what if my king die? Wii it be end of campaign or there will be another king? Or maybe this king never die even if he will be 400 year old?

well, since head of states can be removed by revolutions, i think the game is calculated on it to set a new king when the old one dies. i dont think its gonna be end of campaign

You get a new one, but he doesn't have any traits(i think)

Yeah some generals never die (they get wounded), and since napoleon is also head of state (and you cant have a revolution in france), thats pretty logic

I wonder if Wellington, Blücher and Kutuzov can die. Actually I don't think so because they all can only be wounded right?

Well, if you play as a faction other than France, you can get rid of Nappy "simply" by destroying France. If there's a revolt and France rises again, the new head of state will be some generic king, not Napoleon.

What if France re-surfaces as a republic then ?

don't know, i'd assume that it would be a generic republic leader. and also isn't France under Napoleon classed as an "Empire"?
