Eating breakfast on the porch of my new house in Riften. It's small, but since so much of my business is now centred in the Rift and not Hjaalmarch, I needed a new base of operations. Besides, there is no room at all in my other houses for all the stuff I've collected.

The house at Windhelm is pretty awesome. It has like three armor stands, half dozen weapon plaques, like three display cases, and couple of chests. Not sure how many bookshelves. It's also smaller and more open than the house in Solitude making it quicker to get around.

Downside is there are bloodstains near the door and your magic lab is filled with skeletons and gore from a sidequest.

There seems to be a lack of quests to do in Windhelm. Maybe it's because I'm not Stormcloak. Hopefully that will change now we've taken the city.

Anyway, bonus picture of me killing a child.

After almost 50 hours of listening to kids insult me, I couldn't help it. The murder came with a 1000 septim bounty but it was worth it.

Yeah, well that kid has a... friend... whom I don't think you'd want to piss off.

Just got the Ebony Mail from the Boethia quest line.

    Having fun with the catapults.

Ysgramor was so badass he ate soup with a fork.

Locking Mjoll inside the basement storeroom.

During this, my mannequin came to life and glided across the floor.

I went to search for Aerin because I was sick of his whinging and his obvious love for my wife. I found him in his house.

Aerin's still corpse on the floor. Also, definitive proof that he was planning to seduce my wife with wine and a gold ring. And a venison chop.

Is that the sword you get from Meridia's shrine? I've been looking everywhere for it.

Looks like it. Her shrine is a little North of Dragon Bridge, I'm thinking there is a level requirement of some sort.

Dawnbreaker? I don't know. I have two dozen swords laying around and I constantly switch between three when I go out adventuring.
