Bug found and fixed.
The crash was being caused by wrong character name edition.
The hotfix is in the download section.

I've made him a general with invisible bodyguard.
Its not the perfect solution but far better than 3 balrogs. Besides, me and other guy, we have great plans for animations, and there is a tool under production, if everything goes right, there will be new animations for the balrog and the invisible bodyguards will get even more unoticeable.

I installed 3.2 TATW and the game runs fine. Then i installed AP 2.7 + Hotfix and now upon starting a new campaign with any factions, i am getting "medieval 2 total war encountered an unspecified error and will now exit" error. No other submods/mods enabled other than TATW+AP. Does anyone know how to fix this error ?
About the balrog.
I seeged Moria with my Elves, the message/video poped up "balrog ressurected" but no Balrog Unit appears in the army of the defenders.

On the siege map of Erebor you can not cross the black "Bridge" to the Gate, neither the attackers nor the defenders.

Siege map of erebor, you mean Erebor custom settlement?
what you mean with "black bridge"? is that the bridge over the pit that leads directly to Erebor gate?
Are you sure you're talking about Erebor settlement itself, not erebor-dale custom tile or dale settlement, or even ravenhill custom tile?
I recently got a weird but in the bridge of Erebor too. the gate bridge was impossible to cross, though I checked the settlement files and everything was fine, later I foudn out this bug is sporadical, it does not happen always.
I just checked a siege in Erebor in campaign. The bridge works pretty fine both for attackers and in the event of a sally forth.
If you check Erebor custom settlement via custom battle, you'll notice the bridge works pertty well too.
In campaign, the settlement loads exactly the same files from custom battle, so I have no idea why this is happening, and yes, it is happening, as I said, this bug happened to me recently too.
I have no clue on the cause. Maybe its sporadical so you just need to reload the game and try again, maybe it has something to do with the units involved in the battle... I really don't know, and seems there is nothing I can do, not that I can do now.
Units will only use bridges if they think there is no other option. Any chance that they think there's another way around?

Warlords 3: Darklords Rising was a myth in my early teenage, I only had acess to the demo and searched for the game in the web for years, having found it only many years later, and always had problems with running it in modern pcs.
Released in 1999, basically, this game is the masterpiece of turn based strategy, the art, the game mechanics, the battle system, everything in this game fascinated me from the beggining.
I remember playing it with some friends in what was my first contact with hotseat gameplay, cant describe how fun it was.
It is considered a cult masterpiece of turn based fantasy strategy, a simple game, but not simplory, complex, but not complicated, exactly the way I like games.
I just came to know that FINALLY, after decades I waited for it, the game is now released compatible with modern software/hardware, available in GOG.
Every turn based strategy lover should take a look even if for the sake of curiosity.
PS: This game is precisely the source of inspiration for the new ruins feature I implemented in my last releases. It has a system that I tried to replicate in TATW as close as possible to its original form.
No words to describe how much I love this game, and its not even necessary to say I bought it from gog, and yes, Im playing it.

Hehehe, just kidding. The game itself look very interesting and I didn't knew of it's existence, thanks for sharing Leo. I'm sure people here will appreciate this gesture and will be drawn to the game. I really can't afford it but already wishlisted it. Seems like the perfect kind of game to spend time on a low resources laptop a lazy afternoon.

Huummm... as far as I remember, I never did any change in my submod related to arnor feature nor its user interface. So I dont know the reason why this is happening, and maybe its not even something related exclusively to my sub-mod.
Do the button still works, despite being invisible?
