    Default Naval invasions too easy?

Is it just me or are naval invasions too easy to do and evade?

for example, Iš've been playing as the aetolians and I hav recently conquerd all of greece, I set my eyes on the roman town of Apollonia and quickly conquer it, after that I quickly build two fleets and block the water way between italy and greece, the romans have sent countless fleets at me but I've always won the naval battles, suddenly pergamon decides "hey, why don't we invade greece?" and send 2 full stacked armys at me, i butcher them and quickly build up a another navy to block the waterway between greece and turkey.

I just think it's too easy, I'm now at war with two factions that are stronger then me plus the Illyrians and free barbaric tribes in the north of my kingdom, in vanilla I would be pwned but in RTR VII I'm beating the ing out of them,

so plz make more waterways so that I get a challenge

More waterways wouldn't make it particularly challenging, as the AI would just have to spread its limited fleet production out even more. What difficulty are you playing in?

Well, considering that the entire Aegean Sea is navigable, I really don't see your point with Pergamon... I can see your point about the Adriatic Sea one, but there are a number of sea lanes there, and if your fleet is strong enough to protect them all, then so be it. It's not as if Rome was able to launch naval invasions against Carthage whilst her fleet was fully intact.
