    Default trading retainers

I read somewhere recently that in RTW, you can trade retainers between family members by dragging them back and forth. I can not figure out how to do this. I put both family members in the same city, right click on one of them to view his character scroll, then drag and drop the retainer over the other family members portrait tab. This does not work. What am I doing wrong? Is this disabled in RS2? I was pretty excited to learn this piece of info, and disappointed that I cant figure out how to do it. Can anyone help?

make sure that the person you're transferring these retainers to have free slots available. A character can only have 8 retainers at once.

    There's two constraints:

    1. Maximum of 8 ancilliaries per character (as chaplain mentioned)
    2. No two ancilliaries of the same type, eg. only one of herbalist, doctor, chirugeon
    3. Some types of ancilliaries can't be transfered, depending on the mod but in RS2 most can.

If the destination character meets 1, then 2 is probably the reason why you can't move ancilliaries.

When I move retinues between characters I usually move both of them out of the settlement into their own stack and do it there.

You also cant transfer some retinues from a non-family character towards a family character if im correct. Depends somewhat on age I believe. Example: no transferring from young general to ageing family members.

    correct if wrong please

Oh ok, I'm sure the character I was testing on likely already had 8. Thanks for the info.
