Icon5 Just a couple of quick questions.

Hey guys, two things, first of all, where do I put a downloaded SAV file for me to be able to play it? (poor wording)... Second of all, how do I move my army up in formation, so after i have deployed my force the way I wish, how do I advance them while maintaining this formation?
Thanks, feel free to delete this once they have been answered, no need to clog up the board.

1: i read this like 5 times and still don't really get what you want to say sry
2: just place your army in the formation you want and then select them all and click to where you want them to move but try to take a place "far away" (that means not like 50 meters but farther) and if that doesn't feel right you may like using the "shift" button while moving, there will appear red dots who show you where your units will go when they arrive there

Okay, well people sometimes on this site upload a sved game file for other people to download and play themselves, and I was wondering how I could do this. Does that make it any clearer?
And thank you for the other answer

In the <play_faction> folder, put the .sav in the saves folder if it exists. Create the folder if it doesn't. You need to know the faction for the save. That's it. You need to know the save is for the correct exe as well.

The folder where the save goes is dependant upon where the game was installed.

If you installed the game away from the program files folders then the saves will be in the mentioned folder. If you installed the mod into the program files folder then it will be somewhere in the 'appdata' or 'virtual store'. The path will be something like C:\user\"account name"\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War'. You can run %appdata% to find the start of the path.
