RTR Gold - Further Mods?

Hello guys, new member to this forum so please have patience.

I am relatively new to the world of PC gaming, however I have become an addict of RTW, and for the past few months have enjoyed the wonderful RTR Gold Mod. (Many thanks and congratulations to those modders on their achievement).

Being greedy for fresh challanges I was wondering in their are any other modifications that run with RTR Gold, that I can download without having to do a complete reinstall of the original game, or lose the RTR Gold mod?

Remember I am new to this so if anyone cares to reply could you do do in jargon free language that a computer novice like me can understand.

You can use multiple installs, but from the sound of it to do that you might have to uninstall the game since you can't uninstall the mod. Just back up all of your important files (Save games, replays, etc.) and uninstall RTW and delete the RTW folder. Then reinstalland upgrade to version 1.2, then copy the RTW folder (which is upgraded to 1.2). After you copy it, install RTR into one of the folders. Now you have RTR and the vanilla RTW.

Vanilla RTW being the un-modified version? Remember I am new to this.

I cannot seem to do multiple installs of RTW as when I put in the disc the PC recognises that I already have a version of the game installed. The only options I am given are to "play" or "uninstall", I have tried to get around this, but without success.

I will do as you suggest and see how I go. I do like the look of the Alexander mod, so that will be next on the playlist I think.

You can simply copy and paste your RTw folder to copy it.

I think there are at least a couple of modifications to RTR gold (in fact i'm playing one at the moment).

I'm playing this one and i have found it more challenging and enjoyable:

This can be installed over RTR Gold (I think you download version 1.0 FINAL only)

I can also see RomanLegionMod although this doesn't change too much i don't think.
