    Asterix -

A great lad. Has been a huge help with mapping and contributed more than his humble paragraph says. I wish to sponsor him as he was very interested in the site, is polite, helpful and an all around good lad and seems to be sticking around for some time.

Asterix. Can you find out if he plans to participate in the Curia? It's a major qualification for me.

That is why I am patronizing him. Even though he is a modder.. other clients of mine do not discuss but show up for votes, I often patronize modders. In the past Mim we have always taken modding to equal activeness. Uranos has expressed his desire to become involved in the Curia.

Modification Projects are very important to the welfare of the site. However, the Civitate rank ultimately confers two advantages: One, some say in the governance of the site (either through the Curia or as a qualification for Urbanis Legio.) Two, participation in the Symposium. I consider the latter a perk but the former a duty. That said, active voting is more than sufficient for me. I would much prefer a person who votes but does not discuss to someone who discusses but does not vote.

I always remind my clients to vote in key votes and have never suggested how to vote.

What you tell about his modding qualities clearly sounds promising Asterix, and does tip the vote in favour for him for me.
From the pride and arrogance of the Romans nothing is sacred. But the vindictive gods are now at hand. On this spot we must either conquer, or die with glory (Boudiccas Speech, Tacitus, Annals, XIV, 35)

Yes. It's important that we have good people from the TW side. The fact that he wants to get involved in the Curia makes him a special find.
