Is 1280x720 possible?

HI, can anyone help me find a way to play Third Age or record it in 1280x720 resolution. The closest resolution from the video options in the game appears to be 1280x768. Wondering if there is anything i can do so i can upload commentaries on youtube were there are no black bars on the side? Would really appreciate help if there is anything i can do to play and record Third Age in 1280x720 or something that won't leave bars when uploaded to youtube.

I´ve changed it to 1280 x 720 in the medieval2.preference.cfg file located in the Medieval II Total War folder and it seems to work
