How do i change that, the card turns into a black peasant........... i followed all instructions and pak things.................... i would really appreciate it! :original:

1.I installed the VP spartan
2.Then i did what the Read me told me with this

3.then i changed the decr unit enums to
greek_hoplite_atg_spartan

4.then i changed the text

5.i changed the dictionary thing

6. then i changed the UI

did you unpack the files using vercingetorix' pak extractor?

o i forgot that step i did in the post
AND YES I DID! i extracted everything

so you extracted everything, deleted the existing pak file you extracted, and then made a blank txt file with the same name as the pak you extracted?

no, i used the pak thing to extract the stuff, thats what i did

follow the steps above, or it wont work (I would suggest backing up the pak file you delete)

yes, make an empty text file with the same name as the pak file (all in the pak folder) and then delete the pak file (after you have backed it up of course)

just copy it so you have it for later use in case things go bad when you mod. Just store it away in some file under my documents or something

Oh, no I didnt, my bad. Alright here you go:
1) Extract .pak files using vercingetorix' pak extractor
2) Place these extracted files into your "UI" folder under Data. If you dont have this folder there, create it and then paste the extracted contents into it.
3) In your pak folder, make a txt document with the same name as the .pak file you just extracted (ex: "ui_1.pak")
4) Back up your actual pak file
5) Delete the pak file you extracted (not the txt doc, and not the stuff you put into UI folder)

same thing. I think there is a readme there as well, but it is kinda confusing
