    Default Fourth Age submod (1.2 Released!) (NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIRD AGE 3.0)



    This is my little submod, which adds a fourth age custom campaign.
    features This adds the as new faction; I haven't got any new units, I'm using the vanilla Gondor units.
    All other campaigns (Third Age and fellowship) are still playable.
    I added Dunland from FROME in the Fourth Age campaign. All information about Dunland can be found here

    I also added the Ithil units and Osgiliath Wards from the DAC Christmas present

    I'm trying to add for every faction in the Fourth Age Campaign interactive events. I currently have one for the Reunited Kingdom(elves in Ithilien), one for Rohan (Dwarves in Helm's Deep), one for Isengard (make recruitment of Uruk-Hai possible) and one for Rhûn.

    Info about the the Reunited Kingdom
    Leader: High King Aragorn
    Heir: Prince Eldarion
    Territory:
    Units:The RK uses the Gondor units (renamed) and some AOR Arnor/Eriador units ( The units, mounted and dismounted Knights of Annuminas [requires a rebuilt House of Kings], dunedain Rangers and some hobbits).
    Everything elseYou can't recruit any units except Hobbits in the Shire.


    I need help with the descriptions for the events, I really can't write good texts . If you want to help, send me a pm

    Any suggestions for this are appreciated, just post them.

    My plans for this submod were for the first release: -I want Dunland and the in (finished)
    -AUM (finished)
    -some events (some are finished)
    -Putting Saruman in the shire (100% done)
    The second release will probably be some bug fixes and balancing, so I'll need lots of feedback
    For a later release (which will be for Third Age 3.0), I might implant new factions and units

    Current progress:
    I've added in the Reunited Kingdom.
    I made a fourth age campaign.
    I made some events.
    I changed the family trees for the dwarves, Rohan, High Elves and Dale
    I made an portrait.
    Adding in Dunland and some new units
    Added Isengard in the Shire
    Added in AUM

    Install instructions:

    YOU NEED A CLEAN THIRD AGE TOTAL WAR (NO OTHER SUBMODS) TO USE THIS!
    -download 1.0 here
    -if you don't have 7 zip, download it here
    -extract the archive in your medieval 2 total war folder
    -download 1.2 here
    -extract the archive in your Third age folder
    -Every time your PC asks to overwrite files, click yes
    -run the "file deleter" in your Third Age folder

    Is there a possibility that in the future they will be new units?

    And what about using Arnor units as AOR in all the northern regions?

    I already gave them: Annuminas knights (mounted/dismounted), Bree units and some hobbits.

    New units, maybe if I can find some which suit for this, I can't model myself.

    that is great idea! but it is masive kingdom(arnor and gondor)?? isnt that OP?
    who could stand against them? all small faction will be doomed in few turns?
    so do u have some plans about balance-dunland is allready in war with rohan soo..?
    maybe rhuadur and angmar in the north??
    but i like it so here is some rep!

    Can you make Gondorians recruitable only in Gondor and Arnorian in Gondors? You know the arnor men at arms archers etc

    Will the Reunited kingdom have Itilien too ( because the startpos doesn't show it)

    The units not specifically Gondorian or Arnorian. I think all good factions should be able to recruit units of other good factions if they capture one of the old regions of the other faction. For example RK captures an old Rohan settlement and can recruit some Rohirrim units

    maybe he could do some changes to make possible tu unite dunland and isenguard in a new kingdom with mix of units of both?

    Not at the beginning

    that is great idea! but it is masive kingdom(arnor and gondor)?? isnt that OP?

    Yeah it might be OP, but such a large empire has lots of enemies

    Also, what will happen with Isengard and Mordor (the two most important evil factions)?
    They die in the first turn

    Their two biggest enemies are dead so there will have to be new enemies

    They die in the first turn
    Don't really see the point of this


    You can also make Saruman and wormtongue in the Shire at the start of the campaign

    Good news, I have permission for Dunland and I got permission for the units from the DAC xmas present

    Maybe add Dunedain Rangers as AOR too? and same for LL's Beastslayers? and maybe hollowsteel marksman(Those would be a fine addition to the armies of the RK) and add the dismounted dundedain knights to Annuminas

    Hollow steel marksman, are those from AUM? I already added the dismounted dundedain knights

    Dunedain Rangers, why would those dunedain live in forests and hunt orcsies when they could relax in Annuminas?
